Pastel Jungle Baby Shower {Customer Pix}

This is the Jungle Baby Shower Printable that we made for a friend in pastel colors.  I like it even better!  We did this originally in bold colors and made a huge backdrop for that dessert table.

Wednesday’s blog has party tips 9.21.10 Evite

If you missed my super excited post on Monday, THIS was supposed to be my party tips Wednesday post. But I put it up early because it got featured! We are making these for a friend’s shower.

So instead, I thought I would write about Evite. I always assume that if something is not new to me, it’s not new to anyone else. But I find that this is often not true.

Evite is this super neat, beautiful, practical, green and free way to send email invitations and manage party planning – soup to nuts.

Now you would think, being a printable party decorations diva, that I would not endorse such a thing as Evite. On the contrary, I LOVE IT!

The reasons I love Evite are:

1. It helps reduce our carbon footprint. I am a super green, recycle, freecycle, reuse, reduce tree hugger kind of girl. We are currently looking for recycling centers for the general public to list on our website, so if you know of any – please comment and let me know!

2. I am a fabulous person who needs a lot of help in the area of organization – especially with calendars and my life. Anything to help me out in keeping things straight is a go for me.

3. I am a geek girl and love technology! I can’t get away from it. It makes my life better! And it’s so much easier to import my email contact list straight from my gmail account, or send a link to my facebook friends than to do all this manually.

4. I love parties. {obviously!} Evite has fabulous tools, tips and tricks to help party the party planner get a leg up. And I hate the phone. :P

So if you’ve never tried Evite, please check it out. You will love it. Clickable Party is in the process of designing free downloadable backgrounds that match our party decorations for those of you who love it too!

Here’s what you do:

Go to http://www.evite.com/

Click on the tab that says “invitations”.

Choose an event type under Design Categories {i.e. birthday for kids}.

Choose an adorable pre-formatted background or “design your own”. {more on this in a later post}.

Type in all the important information – make sure you add a title and a date/time.

Click on “Invitation Options” under the main image to choose things like “add a playlist” or “ask guests to bring something”. Here you can also create a custom URL to send your friends.
Click on “Add Guests” in the bottom right hand corner and it will bring you to the page shown below. Either type in email addresses, import them from your email account or send the link in an email on Facebook or add it to your Facebook profile.

Change your email text on the right hand side, and if you wish, change the reply style on the bottom left.

Voila! You have just sent your first Evite. Don’t you feel better now? While your there, check out their entertaining section for more great tools, their blog and their ecards!

Fantasy Football!

{oops! When I moved my blog, it deleted all my awesome pix! Check back later! sorry!}

We created this custom Fantasy Football theme for the Lynch Family of Phoenix, Arizona. They were nice enough to send us some feedback and great pictures of the party!

Krysten,

Just wanted to share some photos of your fine work in action! We had about 30 people at our Fantasy Football party on Saturday. Everyone loved the customized decorations, especially the logos for their teams. We enjoyed creating all of the party elements as part of the family contribution to getting ready for the party. We used the cupcake toppers on the cupcakes and regular food items just to dress up the theme of the day. The banner came out great and everyone was impressed by the setup of the workstations for each team manager at Draft Central. Thanks so much for making the day special!

Thanks, Lynch family, for sending us these snippets about your party! Looks like you had a great time, and we’re glad we could be a part of it!

The Fantasy Football theme is now available for free download in the Clickable Party store!

Jungle Baby Shower

Today was Erin and Patrick’s baby shower! They expected a large group for their Jack and Jill party with family and friends.

We created this Jungle theme for them to go along with the baby’s room in greens, browns and yellows. We had a small table to decorate, but made the most of it.

The dessert table.
We called these “Jungle Pops” – basically chocolate dipped marshmallows rolled in coconut or graham cracker crumbs (like a smore!). We dressed them to look like baby rattles. They were a big hit!

We also made some Rice Crispy Bites – peanut butter rice crispy balls dipped in chocolate. YUM!
We covered these votive candles to match the theme.

We also made some chocolate covered pretzels and filled a jar with “jungle” baby kisses with coordinated theme stickers on the bottom. So cute!

And my favorite part of all… the CAKE!

…and the cupcakes – of course!

This theme is available NOW in the Clickable Party store.
Pre-printed invitations and matching postage is available in our Zazzle store!
